Open strings are represented by an " O" at their upper end and unplayed strings by an " X". The horizontal lines represent the frets of the instrument. The item " Auto Chord Diagrams", in > Module and are displayed with the lowest pitched string on the left and the highest on the right. But utilizing left-handed chord charts (as shown above) should allow you to know your open chords without needing to reference standard chord charts.Before we get into the discussion of how to use the Custom Chord Editor, there is one point which must be made. Chord charts are incredibly useful and I would recommend familiarizing yourself with standard format chord charts also as chances are that song you look up online isn’t going to have left-handed chords displayed. Try to avoid your fingers being too close to the fret wires. You need to fret the notes with enough force to make the notes ring out cleanly, but without adding unnecessary tension to the fretting hand.
